"I just prurchased this coffeemaker about a week ago after my old one started leaking all over the counter. I was a little uneasy about buying this one because of all the negative reviews, but decided to give it a try anyway because it looked so cool and seemed more convenient than a typical coffeemaker. Sorry to say, I am not at all happy with my purchase. The gauge has never once read full and thats probably because half of the water leaks out of the bottom or back of machine! Needless to say I will be returning this item... save yourself the money and trouble!!!"
Pros No carafe, easy to operate, easy to clean, great tasting coffee
Cons Leaks water, gauge never reads full, can't fill travel or tall mugs

"I was actually looking for one that did not use a glass decanter (expensive to keep replacing). When I saw this one I thought it was perfect! And it was from a trusted brand. I loved it for about 7months! Great coffee (not burned), easy to dispense/clean/fill, coffee gauge, could handle tall mugs -- looked cool on the kitchen counter! However, it leaked occasionally and then finally stopped working altogether after only about 7 months! Costs way too much for such a short life. I'm looking now for cheaper and more durable."
Pros coffee tastes good even after brewed a while--not burned, very cool-looking coffeemaker, like the coffee gauge

"Had this unit last year for about a week. It was quickly return after 2 events of the pouring "spout" sticking and coffee was released onto the countertop, down the front of the cabinets & onto the floor. Not good."
Pros 1 cup at a time is a great concept

"Expected it to last more than 6 months!!! The 'Brew" feature malfunctioned and coffeemaker required the programmable mode to brew. Finally, the entire device stopped working. Too bad, it is an expensive item"

"I noticed if I don't pour water in just perfect there is a little clear water that runs into the bottom of server or on counter top. I would still recommend this product to buyers. Coffee is just great and stays very hot."

"This coffeemaker is great for me, coffee stays hot inside. Easy to use, easy to clean. Travel mug doesn't fit underneath, however, if you remove the drip tray it does. Overall, very happy with this purchase."

"We had this model for several years and loved it with one exception. The programming was impossible! Sometimes it came on sometimes it didn't. Couldn't even stop the programming altogether. So we decided we had worn it out as it worked well when it was new. We like the no carafe concept so much I'm ordering our 2nd one for ourselves for Christmas. You'll love it!"

"I've had this coffeemaker almost a year now (2 pots a day) and no problems. i use less coffee because of the Cuisinart shower head type water delivery system.
There is generally some condensation inside the top of the unit which may account for the leaking problem some have experienced. My solution, when the unit is turned off, open the lid about a third of the way for a few minutes to allow the water to drip back into the tank.
Buy this, you'll really like it!"

"We bought ours nearly 4 years ago; just now buying a replacement - because we simply wore it out. On Saturday and Sunday, it is hardly ever turned off. The leak on the countertop, happened too, coffee grounds fell into reservoir when filling filter, stuck in the spout, causing it to stay open; rinsed and cleaned spout, no more issues. LOVE IT..."

"WE BOUGHT OUR 5 YEARS AGO AND IT WORKS FANTASTIC. NEVER LEAKS AND WE COOK 2 BATCHES EVERYDAY WE R BUYING A REPLACEMENT TO HAVE ON HAND SO IF THEY STOP MAKING THIS MODLE WE WILL HAVE OUR REPLACEMENT. AS FOR THE LEAKING PROBLEM MAYBE YOU NEED TO CLEAN IT MORE OFTEN AND KEEP THE GROUNDS OUT OF THE CUP FILL RING. WE WASH OURS OUT AFTER EVERY POT FULL IS BREWED. "We've had ours for nearly 3 years and it's still working fine. I think the "leaking" people are mentioning is really water that spilled over when filling the tank. Mine has never actually leaked, but if I'm pouring too fast the water sometimes pours outside the tank opening. Some of the features have occasionally stopped functioning, but when this happens we simply unplug it. It's kind of like restarting your computer. When we plug it back in everything resets and works fine. I'm planning to buy a new one just to have on hand in case they stop making them. We LOVE ours! The best coffee maker we've ever owned!"
