"i bought these towels on sale with and additional 15% coupon so they were very reasonably priced. i love the look and feel of them, they dry quickly after using. no heavy, wet, towels - no funky smell from wet towels that didn't quite dry between uses. they wash beautifully and dry quickly on the line or in the dryer."

"Very disappointed in these towels. At first I noticed that the hand towel colors were faded compared to the bath towels. Now no problem, they are all faded to the same color. I have spots on them that look like bleach was on them. Ther is no way that I got bleach on them. I am just very disappointed in JC Penney with these towels."

"These towels have so much lint they need to be washed separately at least the first four times. They are also very thin. I needed a lot of towels at a low price for a special event, and they did the job, but I would not buy them again."

"These towels are great! I bought them in toffee, which is a little darker in person than in the pic. I bought four a couple of months ago, went back today and bought two more. Very affordable and dry quick! No mildew smells. I would definitely recommend these!"

"I have only purchased the hand towels and will get the rest when they go on sale but I really do like them so far. I have washed them a few times and haven't noticed anything different from when I bought them other than they seem to be getting softer. They are a bit thin when you first pick them up if you are used to the JC Penney towels, but don't let that stop you from considering them. I bought mine from the store because I like to see and feel what I am getting before I purchase so I would suggest that. I would definitely recommend these towels.
And the arona blue is beautiful."

"I bought these towels in Arona Blue and had lots of problems, bleaching spots, etc. I returned them and had no problem whatsoever with customer service. They are always very accommodating and helpful. I replaced them with the light brown ones and have had no problems at all. I don't understand why JCP even sells the blue ones when they have such a history of the bleaching problem. The lady that handled my return said she has had three such returns so far and is also unsure of the reason."

"I have had these for several months now. I really LOVE them. They dry quickly between uses, in the dryer, or on the line (without being terribly "crunchy" like conventional towels). Regarding other reviews, I did not find them to be overly linty. I do have a front loader and I do not wash them with other articles of clothing, only towels. No fading has occurred and I use He detergent and non-chlorine bleach. One out of 6 has started to fray at the seam. But this has happened with almost every brand of towel I have purchased. I just ordered two more sets in chocholate. If they fade, I will review again!"

"I first purchased one set of these towels two months ago and they've been great from the get-go. I like drying myself with a thin, practically weightless towel. These fit the bill. The amount of time they take to dry is so much better than the heavyweight towels I have."

"These towels were a huge disappointment. After two washes, they lost color, shed excessively, and are actually falling apart. The side hems have already ripped out, and the threads are now hanging from the sides. I bought these towels on Saturday, washed them twice, it is now Wednesday, and they are going out to the garage for rags.
I love JC Penney, and shop there frequently, but these towels are just awful and a complete waste of money."

"I love how soft and absorbent these towels are. However, the second set I purchased came out of the wash with spots of color loss as if bleach had been spashed on them. Apparently, another reviewer had a similiar problem. The excessive shedding makes a mess and hopefully will discontinue after a few more washings.

"We like the towels all & all. We've washed them 4 times now in less than a week of the purchase due to the shedding problem. Other than that, it is a great towel, great length, great price! Wish they had one more size for the "hair" towel. Can't believe how soft they are & how the color is still rich, even after the 4 washings. We purchased the Chocolate color and it's still not faded!"

"I bought 2 dozen of these in total, sets and some extra bath towels. After the first washing, several of the bath towels faded as if they had been bleached in spots. The hand towels and wash cloths were not affected. All were washed together and I don't use bleach. I haven't changed detergent or bath soap. Our previous towels were dark green (also from JCP) and this was never an issue. The towels work fine but look pretty bad."
