"I LOVE these pants. I have a small waist, yet my hips are wide. These are the only pants I have ever purchased that fit in the waist - no gapping! The sizes run small, but once you find your size, you will be a happy camper. Don't ever stop selling these pants!"

"I'm surprised about this change in texture of the material. Because of this, the slacks continue to attract lint and small hairs cling to it. Even after removing this lint, the attraction is still there. I have two animals and that makes it even harder to keep them clean and smooth looking, and this was not the case a couple of years ago. I probably have purchased a dozen pair and have always liked the Briggs brand, now called East 5th."
Pros I like almost everything about these slacks and have purchased many.
Cons In the recent past, the overall texture of the material has changed, and is less favorable.

"I wear talls, but do not have a long torso. These are the best fitting, most comfortable slacks I have purchased in years! Last fall, I ordered 1 blackl pair. When I saw/felt how great they were, I ordered another pair of black & 2 pair of navy. I just received gray w/white stripes, black w/white striped, & light gray &I love them all. I must say, when I tried on the black striped, I thought they were cut a little smaller than the others, (but still fit fine). After wearing them, I think it's because the fabric is a little less stretchy. Still great. I told my sister about them , who was complaining about how hard it is to find nice slacks. She has a little longer torso & her legs are a little shorter. She ordered and loves them too!"
Pros Fit great, extremely comfortable, wash/wear well
Cons Some inconsistencies in fit-depending on fabric, & I want even more color choices!

"I'm 6'1" and I've always had an awful time finding slacks that are long enough. JCP is the only place I've been able to shop for talls and these slacks fit right off the rack, no alterations needed. I love them!"

"First let me say that these pants are very comfortable, but like the previous reviewer points out, the nylon zipper can be hard to close. With a bit of oil or even hair serum rubbed on the zipper, the problem is solved. Another problem I found is the sharp underside of the zipper at the bottom. It catches on pantyhose! I have found if you take a nail file to the sharp edges, you can prevent any problems of scratching or catching. The pants are very nice, they look wonderful and are very comfortable. I wear them a lot when I travel."

"I ordered this pants thinking it was a pull-on since it says no waist and elastic band. I received it and was very disappointed that it has side zip. So difficult to close. Good fiiting on thighs and legs but very tight on waist. I ordered worthington pants with the front zip and same size and it fits better than this one. This pants is only good for people with no tummy, otherwise dont get it"

"I have been buying these pants for years. I have about 5 pair in Black and Navy because I am afraid they will discontinue them. Then I would have to start over. I have other colors as well but not as many. I wish they bring back the light blue. Or even pastel colors for the spring and summer. They are great. I will buy them as long as they carry them. Washing or dry cleaning is great also."

"The fit is fabulous however I wished they offered these in Ultra Talls, with an inseam of about 36" or 37" tall. Worthington used to offer this style a few years back and I miss them. I had a choice of the talls and Ultra Talls. These are too short for heels."

"These pants are great. There is no bunching or puckering of belt loops, pockets, etc. around the waist, and the side zipper helps to ensure a smooth, flat front. I have purchased at least eight pairs in varying solids and stripes. The solid colors have been offered pretty consistently over the past few years, and usually it seems as if a new pattern or two appears each fall/winter season. Also love that they come in tall sizes -- I have a 32" inseam and the tall pants are long enough to wear with a low shoe or medium-heeled boot."
