"My daughter wanted these for school this year as they were the kind to have, so I gave in. She loved them, however after only a couple of weeks, the lights started to go out. After a couple months, the fabric at the bottom of the laces started to pull away and they no longer look nice enough for school, only play shoes. I was disappointed."

"But...my 7-year-old daughter is in love with these shoes and, after all, they're all the rage at her school and among her peers! Although I'm not crazy about the blinding flash of lights (that could be potentially migraine-inducing if you stared at them long enough) every time she steps not-too-lightly , the design is awesome, and they seem to be holding up well to her running around and playing in them. Hey, if she's happy, I'm happy."

They have a nice thick sole and can be worn with or without laces (they are provided). They are comfortable and glamourarous at the same time. Sketchers tend to be a bit pricey but hold up well."

"I bought these for my almost 5 year old granddaughter, since it was the only thing she was asking for at Christmas. The price on JCP.com was better than other sites. Very fast shipping too. She is comfortably wearing size 12 in all her current shoes/boots. However, she was so disappointed on Christmas Eve when she attempted to put on her new Twinkle Toes and couldn't even begin to squeeze into them!! They were able to exchange them at a store, but she needed a full 1 1/2 sizes bigger! So be sure to buy at least one size up. I think they look kind of cheap for the money, but she is in love with them. I hope they hold up to everyday wear, since she probably won't take them off until they wear out!"

"My daughter HAD to have these light-up twinkle toes and was very thrilled to get them. They are very bright in color and with the LED lites they are blinding in the dark! My daughter has narrow feet so we had to put the laces in(which only lace at the bottom two holes) and tighten them up for them to stay on her feet. Overall, she's happy and loves them."

First, they were back ordered for over a month! That's okay if at first I knew, but every week the ship date kept changing.
Now that we finally have them she can't even get them on her feet! They are so small and tight. I even made sure to buy a size bigger so she could wear them for a while.
I recommend buying 2 sizes bigger. We went to the mall & measured her feet to be sure of her size. She tried on another pair & the next size was even a bit snug.
Other than that the construction seems durable and they are super cute! Love the lights & embroidery."
