"I find these shoes comfortable to wear for the whole day. I usually have one black pair and one white pair. The velcro is adequate for daily usage, but heavy duty walking will loosen it causing it to need to be retightened. The convience of the velcro is worth it to me."

"My husband has a hard time finding the shoes he likes in the store because he has a hard to fit size. I can find what I need in the catalog and if it's not right they will return them without a problem. I'm so glad Penney's still offers this service."

"A great shoe at a moderate price. With velcro strips it is easy to get on or off. With both hips artificial I don't have the flexability to work with shoe laces. These shoes provide the support needed for my 12,000 to 14,000 steps I daily walk."

"I bought these for my husband and he is just fascinated with them. He has problems with his right ankle as a result of his Gout and complains about every pair of shoes he has. However, he states that he doesn't even feel these shoes; it's like walking in clouds!!! Now he wants them in all the available colors! Excellent value."

"I broke my wrist and couldn't tie my regular sneakers. I bought these shoes because of the velcro straps. Very easy to put on and comfortable. I wear size 14 medium and the fit is perfect... no troubles with the straps. I'll continue to wear these shoes well after my wrist is healed."

"Since my husband's stroke 12 years ago he has worn nothing but New Balance walking shoes. They help him keep his balance. The slightly turned up toe is a must to keep him from stumbling. These shoes wear good for a long time and we highly recommend this shoe. The quality is excellent. Please keep making this shoe style. It would be nice to have them in brown too."
